Speech Team

Our national champion speech team competes in tournaments across the United States every semester. UIndy students compete in a variety of events including impromptu speaking, persuasive speaking, and dramatic interpretation. For students who compete on the team during each of their undergraduate years, international competition is a possibility.

Consistently ranking high among college forensics teams across the state of Indiana, UIndy speech students are prepared for success in public address, both inside and outside of the classroom. Scholarships are available to a limited number of speech team members. Prospective speech team members are invited to apply for these renewable scholarships.
