Big-city opportunities, small-town atmosphere
Located in a friendly neighborhood just 12 minutes south
of downtown Indianapolis, our students enjoy the city's outstanding
cultural, entertainment, and internship opportunities.
Communication professionals around the city have served as guest
lecturers, and sometimes teach specialized classes in their field.
But most importantly, they know our students. We offer an excellent
internship program that provides outstanding opportunities to study
with professionals in the communication industry. One student recently
interned with the Indianapolis Colts professional football team,
for example, and was able to travel with the team throughout their
season. Being located in a major media market gives our students
important contacts at the leading radio and television stations,
newspapers, advertising agencies, and nonprofit organizations. We've
been very successful in placing our graduates in internship positions
that can lead to full-time careers upon graduation.
